Introduction​
AKB North East Energy Solutions formed by a group of hardcore power professionals encompassing all disciplines and drafted mostly from top technical hierarchy of Damodar Valley Corporation and DLF Power Ltd. a multipurpose project authority, having major thrust in Power Generation-Transmission-Distribution, under Ministry of Energy, Government of India. Top hierarchy members have minimum 30 years experience of Power Station Planning, Engineering, Installation, Operation & Maintenance which involves not only Thermal Power Stations up to unit rating of 210MW, but also Hydel unit of 40MW and Frame 6 Gas turbines. Subsequently they know how technical capability was further strengthened through augmentation of Core Team strength from other renowned organizations like BHEL, Alstom, and INCAB etc.
This Captive Power Plant Engineering group was formed under leadership of Late A. K. Biswas Ex- Principal Chief Engineer and Director (Projects) of DVC & Mr. Shibaji Chowdhury (EX-VP Shri Shakambari Ferro Alloys) only in June 2013 with the order from Ecotech Papers for Project management & execution of a 4 MW Captive Power Plant Having 25TPH Boiler with 4MW TG sets.
Presently the organization is being spear headed by Mr. Shibaji Chowdhary under the valuable guidance of Mr. S.K. Roy.
