PRABIR KUMAR BISWAS

SWAPAN KUMAR RAY

Swapan Kumar Ray is a senior electrical and power engineering professional with over four decades of experience in power generation, transmission, and industrial infrastructure projects. A graduate of Jadavpur University (1972), he is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India).

He has held senior leadership and advisory roles with organizations including Damodar Valley Corporation, CESE Ltd., Development Consultants Pvt. Ltd., and Usha Martin Group, where he served as General Manager – Power Projects. His experience includes delivery of power plants up to 210 MW, high-voltage transmission systems up to 220 kV, and complex steel plant installations.

Mr. Ray has also served as faculty in Power Plant Engineering at Jadavpur University and holds a National Certificate of Supervisor issued by the Government of West Bengal.

SUBASH CHANDRA SHARMA

A seasoned Mechanical Engineer (B.E. – Mechanical) with extensive leadership experience in heavy industrial operations. As President, he possesses deep technical expertise across power generation, metals, cement, petrochemicals, paper, and infrastructure sectors. His professional experience spans reputed organizations including Kesoram Industries Ltd, Orient Paper & Mills Ltd, DLF, Usha Martin Industries Ltd, Vikash Metal & Power Ltd, Ankit Metals & Power, Adhunik Cements Ltd, and Indorama Petro Chemicals.

His technical core competencies include operation and maintenance of thermal power plants, root cause and fault analysis, reliability engineering, and the design and implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies. He has a proven track record in improving plant availability, optimizing equipment life cycles, reducing forced outages, and driving operational excellence through systematic maintenance practices.

PRASANTA KUMAR DAS

A grass-root process and power plant engineer with over 40 years of professional experience. He acquired Engineering qualifications from The Institution of Engineers (I), Kolkata in Chemical Engineering (1981) and Mechanical Engineering (1988). He also possesses a Boiler Operation Engineering (BOE) proficiency certificate from the Directorate of Boilers, Kolkata, and completed a Graduate Diploma in Materials Management in 1989. He was conferred the status of Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India) in 2003.

With more than four decades of extensive experience, he has gained profound knowledge in Chemical Process Plants and Power Plants, including over 17 years in the Government sector and 23 years in the private sector. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in Project Execution, Commissioning, Operation, and Maintenance of process plants and power plants.

He has been associated with several renowned organizations such as Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation of India Ltd., Indian Charge Chrome Ltd., Dishergarh Power Plant, General Electric, DLF Industries Ltd., and Thermax Limited. He has commissioned over twenty captive power plants, ranging from 4 MW to 150 MW, covering all types of boilers and fuels. A notable achievement of his career includes his involvement in the commissioning and O&M of India’s largest solar thermal power plant (100 MW) at Pokhran, Rajasthan. Presently, he is associated with Klein Constro Development Pvt. Ltd.
